Engineering Business Analyst - Hampshire

Up to £45 per annum + + Company Benefits

My client is a global innovator in the world of cloud payment processing solutions.

I am looking for a passionate Engineering Business Analyst who will help produce solutions for client requests for customised functionality within my clients applications.

This role will involve working with various client facing teams within my clients business as well the clients themselves, to help understand their requirements, to produce clear specifications.

You will work and collaborate with many people within the business such as external clients and internal Operations Team, Implementation Project Managers and Consultants, Product Managers, Developers and Testers so its very important that you have excellent communication skills and relationship building abilities.

Your role will encompass the below:

* Work with client facing departments and clients themselves to understand, Clients existing business processes and future Clients requirements
* Liaise with the product team over new functional changes to existing features as well as proposing new ones to meet client requirements.
* Where necessary, work with the development team to undertake technical analysis.
* It will sometimes be necessary to work directly with the developers to help them understand user requirements or to get them to investigate the technical feasibility of collected requirements.
* Analyse gathered data to provide a solution that is acceptable for all parties.
* Work with the client implementation team and other stakeholders to improve internal business processes.
* Create and update documentation.
* Client requirements should be documented clearly and in line with my clients standards.

Documentation of internal processes should be kept up to date and relevant

I am looking for a candidate that has the below mix of skills and experience:

• Innovative Analysis
• Digest and process information and transform it into clear actions and/or requirements.
• Problem solving, the ability to see a problem from different perspectives, analyse the available options and data and then recommend appropriate solutions.
• Think in a critical manner, when analysing a problem and can think in a clear and rational way.
• Excellent Communication skills
• Negotiation skills
• Must be able to take technical concepts and explain them in a simplified manner.
• Build working relationships with clients, staff and other stakeholders.
• Create functional specifications based on client requirements and processes.
• Create and maintain technical/functional documentation
• Excellent Planning and Administration skills
• Manage and plan any requirements gathering process.
• Research and understand unfamiliar concepts.
• Keep up to date and explore the use of new analysis techniques and/or tools.
• Be able to learn quickly and adapt to a fast paced working environment

If you have any experience of the below, this would be an absolute bonus to your application:
• Knowledge of working with or integrating with Workday.
• Past experience working in the payroll industry.
• Have worked with large computer applications
• Project Management methodologies such as Prince 2 or Agile (Scrum).
• Data Modelling

Experience & Education
• Degree Educated in a relevant technical field.
• OR 5+ Years experience in a similar role.
