Sales Engineer - --Torbay

£33000 - £35000 per annum + Commission

As a Sales Engineer for the UK, you will be to support the UK sales team in selling to multiple market sectors (e.g. government, military, commercial).

Key Responsibilities

* Engage in complex technical discussions with multiple customer types to understand the customer's need and determine, recommend and demonstrate which test solutions are appropriate for the customer
* Liaise closely with product development to solve complex pre-sales customer questions
* Keep informed of developments in GNSS technologies, market developments and test methodologies
* Keep informed about competitor products, and be able to demonstrate the companies strengths
* Support the sales team in closing sales opportunities

Other Responsibilities

* Support SE's in across EMEA as required
* Lead or support system acceptance tests at customer site or at the companies site

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes


* Engineering degree or equivalent
* Five years hands-on experience of GNSS systems or devices
* British nationality with an ability to get a clearance
* Capable of working on his(her)own and to perform multiple duties in a heavy workload environment
* Willing to travel nationally and internationally


* HNC or equivalent in engineering subject
* Solid technical knowledge of GNSS systems, devices and receivers
* Eye for detail
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Energetic and outgoing needed to work in a collaborative environment
* Good communication skills and excellent presentation skills
* Experience and knowledge of selling techniques
* Must be PC literate
