Scrum Master - Hampshire

£50 - £60 per annum

My client is a global innovator in the world of cloud payment processing solutions.

Due to recent growth and development the company is looking for a Scrum Master, who can bring their own unique energy and enthusiasm to work with multi-national companies in the EMEA region in order to promote a culture of continuous improvement within an Agile environment. This is a brand new role and you will be looking after, developing and mentoring a current team of 7 Developers.

I am looking for an experienced Scrum Master to cover the following responsibilities: -

* Facilitation of Agile ceremonies ensuring that best practice techniques are adhered to
* To coach, mentor, educate and inspire the assigned team acting as an enabler for continuous improvement
* Ensure the adoption of Agile principles and practices
* Challenge business stakeholders to think in an evolutionary manner, supporting the transformation to Agile delivery methods
* Work closely with other Scrum Masters, contributing to the successful development of the Scrum Master community

Ideally, your experience and background should cover the following:

* Certified in an industry standard recognised Scrum Master qualification
* Financial services experience
* In depth knowledge of Scrum and Kanban, ideally with some exposure to scaling (scaled scrum, LeSS or SAFe practices)
* Strong facilitator with experience running engaging planning sessions, retrospectives and reviews
* Demonstrable experience coaching Product Owners who are new to the role
* Exposure to digital product development would be beneficial with experience helping Product Owners to shape the backlog and roadmap
* Experience in a range of estimation and forecasting techniques with an emphasis on measuring outcome not output
* Experienced servant leader and team coach able to remove impediments and provide guidance on backlog creation, refinement, feature slicing
* Understands the fundamentals of software development processes and practices
* Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present concepts in a clear and concise manner
* Be able to demonstrate an attitude of empowerment, leading a team to self-organisation
