Service Design Architect - Berkshire


We are looking for a Service Design Architect to work for a global company.

The objective of the Service Architect is to ensure that the company receive Service Design and Service Management processes which contractually and operationally meet their requirements. These deliverables are produced by the Service Architect in collaboration with other business units and the preferred out-sourcing partner.

The Service Architect is responsible for the design of Service Offerings and the Service Design and Implementation of the new service.

Key Responsibilities

* Service organisation design
* Service management process/procedure definition
* Supplier, Company business units engagement (to agree processes & interfaces)
* Process work instruction
* Service desk design
* Service reporting design
* Service management tool design
* Service management / design proposals to the business
* Service management consultancy
* Change Requests for projects which require out-of-scope deliverables
* The Service Architect can be engaged during any of the following phases of the service lifecycle, but will be focused on design and transition


* In-depth knowledge and experience within a relevant service design & delivery discipline or framework. Ideal candidate has 5+ years IT Service design experience.
* Expertise in service management tools such as HPE ITSM and HPE ITAM product suites.
* A strong technical & service technical background in order to identify opportunities or potential problems whilst designing the service model
* Experience of being highly accountable for the design and quality of key documentation and processes.
* Organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter in a demanding environment.
* Ability to respond positively and calmly to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
* Proven ability to operate in extremely high pressure situations and successfully handling multiple priorities with a high level of discipline while remaining flexible
* Ability to work on own initiative, with a high degree of autonomy
* Self-motivated and self-monitoring, continuously evaluating own work processes
* High dependability - be there to fulfil function and support
* ITIL Foundation v3 Foundation certified (Minimum)
* Willingness to travel internationally

* Create a tools enablement strategy for solutions that underpin the service management functions
