Analog & Mixed Signal Verification ( Rx / Tx ) contractors

Job Reference: db16258
Job Location: United Kingdom, Surrey
Job Type: Contract
Posted 4 days ago

Our leading semiconductor client is seeking an experienced AMS Verification Engineer for an initial 6-month contract.
This role is inside IR35 and is focused on the simulation, investigation and debug of complex mixed-signal designs, rather than analogue circuit design. The contractor will be responsible for analysing simulation results, troubleshooting verification issues and improving the quality and coverage of AMS test environments across wireless Rx and Tx signal chains. (Working on site full time)

Required Experience

* Strong AMS verification and simulation experience, ideally within wireless or communications semiconductor environments.
* Hands-on experience developing and debugging Cadence-based AMS test benches for Rx and Tx signal chains.
* Ability to investigate simulation failures, analyse results and identify root causes of complex mixed-signal issues.
* Experience troubleshooting analogue/digital interfaces and validating behaviour against system requirements.
* Knowledge of PVT analysis, regression testing and simulation-based verification methodologies.
* Comfortable working with design teams to resolve issues and improve verification coverage; this is a simulation and debug focused role rather than an AMS circuit design position.
