Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an Embedded Software Application Engineer Specialist to support Passive Safety function development within an automotive Electrical and Electronic Embedded Systems environment.
The role combines function ownership, requirements development, Functional Safety, Cyber Security and cross-functional integration activities throughout the product lifecycle.
The Role
You will be responsible for defining, developing and coordinating assigned Electrical User Functions (EUF), using inputs from project requirements, technology development, legal requirements, consumer ratings and competitor analysis.
Working across multiple engineering functions, you will support integration activities, safety analysis, cybersecurity activities, system documentation and issue resolution while contributing to project planning and concept decisions.

Candidate Profile
You will be an experienced automotive engineering specialist with a background in Passive Safety, Function Ownership or Electrical and Electronic Embedded Systems. You will be comfortable defining requirements, coordinating cross-functional activities and supporting safety-related functions throughout the complete product lifecycle.
