WA Consultants is currently recruiting for a contract Project Manager for a public sector client. This will be a 24-month contract initially and the role has been deemed by the client to fall inside of IR35. This will be a hybrid working role with the expectation of 3-days onsite per week.
Our client is looking for an APM PMQ qualified Digital Project Manager with extensive experience delivering complex technology and digital transformation projects. Proven track record of managing end-to-end project life cycles, controlling budgets, mitigating risks, engaging senior stakeholders and overseeing supplier delivery. Strong governance, business case development and leadership skills, with a consistent record of delivering outcomes to agreed time, cost and quality targets within complex stakeholder environments.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience delivering digital projects and programmes within structured project management frameworks.
* APM PMQ qualification (or equivalent demonstrable experience leading digital project delivery).
* Strong project planning, governance, risk, issue and change management expertise.
* Experience managing project budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
* Proven stakeholder management skills, including engagement at senior leadership level.
* Experience leading teams and coordinating multi-disciplinary resources.
* Strong contract and supplier management capability.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business case development and reporting.
* Track record of delivering projects to agreed time, cost and quality objectives.
* Ability to work collaboratively across programme, project and business teams.
* Contract Management Capability Programme (CMCP) Foundation qualification, or willingness to obtain.
