Plant Manager

We are currently looking for an Independent Contractor to work in the Netherlands.

Role: Operational Plant Readiness Manager
Location: Netherlands
Duration:12 -18 Months initially
Salary/Rate: TBC

As Startup Operations Manager/Plant Manager, you will bring a black mass production facility, including lithium and graphite recovery, from startup to stable operation.

The responsibilities span three phases:
– Commissioning and operational readiness
– Startup and ramp-up of production
– Transition to stable operations management

Requirements
• Master’s degree in chemical engineering with 10+ years of experience in hydrometallurgical or chemical
process and project management.
• A born people manager who ensures EHS compliance and fosters a strong safety culture.
• A business-oriented professional with a holistic understanding of metallurgical or chemical operations and a
proven track record in managing effective production teams.
• An efficient, persuasive, and engaging communicator
• A thoughtful and systematic decision-maker who balances employee well-being, customer satisfaction, quality,
and long-term results in problem-solving
• Pragmatic, hands-on mentality
• Excellent communicator, orally and in writing in a multicultural environment
• Ability to deal with complex flows and communicate complex matters in a concise and accessible way
